INTRODUCING THE NEW TERRAIN AND ACADIA BLACK EDITIONS

The 2019 GMC Terrain and Acadia Black Editions.

Black wheels and darkened details bring a bold new character to GMC's family-friendly Terrain and Acadia SUVs.

The right, coordinated elements, can turn a well-tailored ensemble into something striking. That especially holds true in the world of automotive design – and it's certainly true with the new GMC Terrain and Acadia Black Editions.

Both the Terrain Black Edition and Acadia Black Edition add new character to GMC's SUV portfolio while delivering the same excellent engineering and premium features synonymous with the GMC brand. These new Black Edition models are designed to further accentuate the bold lines and strong surfacing found in Terrain and Acadia's exterior designs.

TERRAIN BLACK EDITION

Terrain Black Edition models available with either a Terrain SLE or Terrain SLT, and add unique black 19-inch aluminum wheels. From there, Black Edition models add a darkened grille insert, along with a high-gloss black finish on Terrain's grille surround, mirror caps, roof rails, and other trim elements like the available GMC Black Badges helping complete the aggressive blacked-out appearance. Terrain Black Editions are available in Ebony Twilight Metallic, Sedona Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic, Satin Steel Metallic or Summit White exterior colours.

Terrain SLE Black Edition models are available in front or all-wheel drive forms, with either a standard 170-horsepower turbocharged 1.5 L four-cylinder engine, or an available 252-horsepower, 2.0 L turbocharged four-cylinder engine (AWD only). Terrain SLE Black Editions also include:

  • HID headlamps with C-shaped LED Signature daytime running lamps
  • Traction Select system
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • Keyless Open and Start dual-zone automatic climate controls
  • Fold-flat front passenger seat

ACADIA BLACK EDITION

Acadia Black Edition models follow a similar formula, starting with a well-equipped Acadia SLT-1 painted in Ebony Twilight Metallic, Red Quartz Tintcoat, Dark Sky Metallic, Smokey Quartz Metallic, Summit White, or White Frost Tricoat paint. Acadia Black Edition models are highlighted with a blacked-out grille surround and insert, black mirror caps and roof rails, and unique 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with black accents. Acadia Black Edition also includes high gloss black fog lamp surrounds, and black lens elements within headlamps and tail lamps.

Acadia SLT-1 Black Edition models also include:
